NVRLND: A Gritty Noir Reimagining of Peter Pan

NVRLND is a "mind-blowing" 4-issue limited series that reimagines the classic Peter Pan mythos as a gritty, modern-day noir thriller. Set in the bustling underground music scene of Hollywood, the story follows Peter Pan as the lead singer of the rock band "The Lost Boys," while a sinister Hook operates as a ruthless tattoo artist and drug kingpin. At White Dragon Comics, we specialize in these high-concept independent titles that push the boundaries of classic storytelling.

Issue Summaries

  • NVRLND #1: Peter Pan is a rising rock star in Hollywood’s underground scene. The "Lost Boys" are his bandmates, and they are caught in the crosshairs of a new lethal drug called "Pixie Dust" that is ravaging the youth of the city. We are introduced to Wendy, a new girl in town who becomes entangled in Peter's dangerous world.

  • NVRLND #2: The mystery of the "Pixie Dust" deepens as Peter discovers its connection to the ruthless James Hook. As the body count rises among the runaway "Lost Boys," Peter must decide if he is a hero or just another casualty of the Hollywood night.

  • NVRLND #3: The tension between the Lost Boys and Hook’s syndicate reaches a "pulsating" breaking point. Tiger Lily is introduced as a fierce ally in the fight against the drug trade, while Wendy finds herself deeper into the heart of NVRLND than she ever imagined.

  • NVRLND #4: In this "senses-shattering" series finale, Peter and Hook face off in a final confrontation. The truth behind the shadows of Hollywood is revealed, and the boy who wouldn't grow up must finally face the consequences of his immortal lifestyle.
